Ein liten oppdatering

Då he skulen starta igjen og sumaren går mot haust. Det flotte med Sydney er at ein får nokre fine "haust dagar" der varmegradene gjerne stige til både 25 og 30 C! Ja takk. 

Eg har ikkje hatt tid å nyte sumaren skikkelig i år ettersom eg fortsatt jobbar på ein kjøtt butikk i tillegg til ein sengetøy/bad/dill butikk. Så bo håpar eg på nokre fine dagar eg kan nyte i pausene på skulen. 

I dag er det 26 varmegrader og berre nokre få timar på skulen, så det høyrest fint ut! 

Sjølv om eg kan misunne dåkke her så skal dåkke vite at dåkke er heldige som har vinter. Eg har ikkje stått på ski på tre år, og ikkje sett snø på over 2... Og spesielt no som det er olympisk på tv krible det heilt ekstremt i beina etter snøen! Kanskje drar eg til New Zealand i juli å ser eg fortsatt har teken på slalåm. 

Vi får sjå. Uansett, håpa dåkke har det sult knallfint det heime så skal eg prøve å vere flinkare på blogg!

I går. På Bondi 

Beach for days

Literarily though.. Third day at the beach and still loving it. Today we went to the boat house, had a coffee, and then we went paddling. The man we hired kayaks with told us that crossing over to the other side might not be a good idea today.. but since we are living on the edge we did it anyways. The Basin never fails.. today as always it was full of wild wallabies and lizards. We parked out kayaks and went in the beautiful still and green water for a swim before we went back to the kayaks and paddled to the Boathouse again. 2 hours exactly! Back at the boathouse we had yet another coffee and then we went to the beach to dry up. We have had a brilliant mini holiday! 

We figured out that the boathouse is actually Pinterest.

Story of our lives...

Walking to the bus stop at Avalon, confident that we are on time we sit down and wait for the bus. Time pass and no buss shows. 10 minutes after its supposed to be there we get tired of waiting and decide to go to a cafe and eat breakfast just to see the bus go pass us a minute after we left. We sit down at the cafe thinking that we're not gonna be late for the next one. Positive that we have a lot of time we don't stress. From the cafe we have a good view to the buss stop and just when we least expect it our next bus passes. Well then, let's order some juice, looks like we have another 30 minutes to kill. The juice is ordered and we are sure that we have more than enough time to drink it slowly. I finally get on my phone to check when our next bus is leaving so that we at least don't miss this one.. 1 minute, awesome, let's go! Oh dang.. That was the bus.. Passing right in front of us. You know what girls.. Lets just go sit at the bus stop. And that is just what we're doing..

Amsterdam

The joy of Starbucks after being in Norway.. The joy of Internet after being without. Hello Amsterdam, I think I have begun to like you, even if it's just the airport. And I guess it's about time, knowing that it's probably the 10th time I've been here. I think I've finally figured you out. #notbigeneoughformeanymore 

Norwegian summer, Australian winter

20 degrees Celsius today! I just went jogging and wished that I put on shorts. My oh my. This is not winter. I refuse to believe it. Me and Carol just packed a basket of fruits and berries and are having a picnic in the park. This is beautiful. 

What a life

Enjoying life at home although being here is confirming that I belong in Sydney right now. Stadlandet will always be home no matter where I am, and maybe so will Sydney one day. My last days I am going to enjoy on the mountains or in the ocean. What a life! 

Surf family friends home

I am loving Norway. It is wonderful being able to see everyone. It had also been more surfing here than altogether in Australia. I need to get in the water more down under. Hopefully my schedule will allow me some surf. Although I absolutely love Norway I know that Australia is the right place to be right now! And I am so looking forward to go back :) 

Home sweet home

Oh how I have greatly missed you. I am breathing in your smell of salt and newly cut grass. I walk barefoot in the middle of the road. The mountains are screaming my name. The ocean curl up against me as I give my self to the waves. Freedom. Love. Beauty. Home. 

Home is where the heart is

This is what's waiting for me! Oh, how glorious! I hate missing school for two weeks though! I actually love it so much that I have been struggling with the decision of going home (even if it is only for a while). But I think it's the right thing to do right now. And these photos helpe look forward to being there. I love home.. But right now home is two places.
